Bocas del Toro Full-Day Experience

Service Description

Discover the Caribbean beauty of Bocas del Toro, Panama, on a full-day adventure combining tropical beaches, marine wildlife, Caribbean culture, and beautiful island landscapes. The experience begins early with hotel pickup from 6:00 a.m. and a journey toward the Costa Rica–Panama border. Depending on the logistics of the day, we will stop for breakfast in Sixaola or Changuinola before completing the required immigration procedures. After crossing the border, we continue toward Almirante. From Guabito, ground transportation takes us to the port, where we board a fast boat to Isla Colón, arriving at approximately 9:30 a.m. Once on Isla Colón, you will have the opportunity to enjoy a short tour through the town and experience its colorful Caribbean atmosphere and local culture. From here, you can choose between two different experiences, depending on the itinerary selected for the day. Option 1: Starfish Beach Travel to the famous Starfish Beach, known for its white sand, turquoise waters, and abundant starfish. Here, you can swim in the calm Caribbean waters and observe starfish in their natural habitat while enjoying the beautiful tropical surroundings. Later, we will continue to Bocas del Drago, where a seafood lunch will be served at a local restaurant overlooking the sea. After lunch, we will begin the journey back toward Costa Rica. Option 2: Dolphin Watching & Snorkeling at Coral Cay From Isla Colón, we will travel by boat to Dolphin Bay, a natural area where dolphins can often be observed swimming freely in their natural habitat. We will then continue through waterways surrounded by mangroves toward Coral Cay. At Coral Cay, you can enjoy snorkeling in clear Caribbean waters and explore a vibrant marine environment where you may encounter tropical fish, corals, starfish, barracudas, and many other marine species. After snorkeling, we will enjoy lunch or a snack at a local restaurant before returning to Isla Colón. We will then take a short tour through the town before beginning the journey back to Costa Rica.
