Get ready for one of Costa Rica’s most exciting adventures with a full-day rafting experience on the spectacular Pacuare River. Surrounded by lush primary rainforest, exciting rapids, waterfalls, and incredible natural scenery, this is an unforgettable adventure for nature and adrenaline lovers. The day begins early with hotel pickup between 5:15 a.m. and 6:15 a.m., followed by transportation to the Ríos Tropicales Operations Center. Here, you will enjoy a delicious traditional Costa Rican breakfast in a comfortable setting surrounded by nature, giving you the chance to recharge before beginning the adventure. After breakfast, you will receive all the necessary rafting equipment and travel to our private river access point on the banks of the Pacuare River. Before entering the water, our certified rafting guides will carefully check and adjust all equipment to ensure a safe and comfortable experience. You will also receive a complete safety briefing covering basic paddling techniques, safety procedures, and what to expect during the river journey. No previous rafting experience is required; simply follow your guide’s instructions and get ready to enjoy the adventure. The rafting adventure covers approximately 18 miles of the Pacuare River, one of Costa Rica’s most spectacular rivers. The route combines exciting rapids with calmer sections where you can take in the surrounding tropical rainforest and its incredible biodiversity. As you travel downstream, you will be surrounded by lush vegetation, impressive waterfalls, towering rainforest, and the natural sounds of the forest. The combination of adventure and scenery makes the Pacuare River one of the most memorable rafting destinations in Costa Rica.
